In the beginning of 2022, I was dedicated to learn how to write programs with Python and SwiftUI. I published kScenes on Microsoft Store, and an app on Apple App Store. The successful publishing of my software greatly encouraged my passion of programming. However, the lockdown of Shanghai deeply impacted my life. My interest in programming was interrupted by the two months’ depression under the lockdown. And in the end of 2022, I came to Poland.
In 2023, I published the version 2.0.0 of kScenes, and added a function of importing pictures to folders that are named with creation date. And later there was no new version.
Though the software had not been updated for one year, there are still active users. I feel touched about people who trust me. This is why I decide to continue to improve the software.
The big update of the version 3.0.0 is PDF exporting function. Now you can create a single-page PDF document from a picture, or create a multiple-page PDF document from multiple pictures. The PDF document can be exported as A4 size, and the position of pictures can be set.
The new version of kScenes offers the function of adjusting the converting quality of JPEG and WebP. Lossy compression of WebP is supported, because it can significantly reduce the file size of a picture.
